Industry analysts believe that Ford India will introduce its Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), EcoSport, by the end of this year or in the initial months of 2013. The car will be the perfect blend of functional and luxury features, which will set new heights for fuel efficiency in the compact SUV segment. In order to render a sporty look, the vehicle has high ground clearance, which also assists it in handling speed-breakers present on Indian roads. The appealing looks of EcoSport are likely to grab the attention of a large number of auto enthusiasts. It is based on the platform of the Fiesta hatchback and is expected to have decent fuel economy, unmatched appearance and brilliant stability.
Ford will globally introduce this car in only one variant. As far as the exterior design of this car is concerned, its front fascia flaunts a trapezoidal grille indulged in chrome, which is further complemented by the precisely designed headlamps. The car also holds trapezoidal fog lamps at the bottom of the bumpers that help it to mark a commanding presence on the roads.
