      Ford's Ecosport compact SUV has won many hearts across the globe. Standing true to the trust of over 150,000 proud customers around the world, Ford EcoSport has earned the honor of being the highest ranked SUV according to J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Initial Quality Study (IQS) Study. The recognition was handed out to Nigel Harris, President and Managing Director along with Raj Sarkar, Vice President, Marketing during the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2014 India Automotive Awards held recently.

      As per the annual initial quality survey conducted by a global research agency, Ford EcoSport had registered the least problems for every car against competition. With more than 30 awards to its credit, the latest recognition earned by Ford EcoSport highlights the company's commitment to deliver quality and value customer feedback.

Power Asia Pacific, said. With new products on the horizon and a new world class manufacturing facility operational in Sanand, Ford India is focused on continuing to provide Indian customer outstanding quality and peace of mind associated with a Ford vehicle.

      The 2014 India Initial Quality Study (IQS) is based on evaluations from 8,429 vehicle owners who purchased a new vehicle between November 2013 and July 2014. The study included 73 vehicle models from 17 makes and was conducted between May 2014 and September 2014 in 30 cities across India. Now in its 18th year, the study covers and measures problems that are faced by owners with the purchase of new vehicle during the first two to six months of ownership. It also examines more than 200 problem symptoms covering eight vehicle categories namely - engines and transmissions; vehicle exterior; driving experience; heating, ventilation and air-conditioning; features, controls and displays; vehicle interior; seats; and audio, entertainment and navigation.

      Continuing to set new benchmarks since its launch in 2013, the EcoSport has won the hearts of customers and enthusiasts alike with its robust drive dynamics, exemplary performance along with smart technology and compelling value proposition. The company has been working on developing 2015 Ecosport with fresh upgrades. Post launch it is expected to further strengthen its sales number in the country.
