After tasting success at India’s first ever Formula One racing Tournament last week, the popular Italian sports car maker Ferrari is looking forward to conduct an owner training program in the Indian market. The car maker is also planning to organize a challenger series event at the Buddha International Circuit, in Greater Noida.

Ferrari had marked its debut in the Indian auto market in the starting of this year. The firm has appointed Shreyans Group as official importer of the Ferrari cars in the Indian market.

While speaking to the reporters at the occasion of the launch of company’s new FF model in National Capital, Ferrari Chief Executive Officer Amedeo Felisa told reporters, “The idea is why not have our challenger series (a racing competition) and customer training programmes now that there is a world-class track here in India.” He added that “We had success yesterday (Sunday) with Alonso... We hope that the popularity of the brand will increase.”

The all new FF model is the first ever four seater four wheel drive model in the Indian market from Ferrari. The company has already sold over 800 units of the car in the Indian market, while bookings for the next year have already crossed 1000 units.
