Industry experts are of the opinion that the new version of Scorpio is expected to come with an enhanced style quotient. The front of the new Scorpio is expected to undergo changes in order to distinguish it from the current generation model. The rear portion is also expected to see some modifications to spice up the overall look of the vehicle. It is expected that wheelbase, at 2680 mm, will be retained and interiors will be redesigned to create more space for passengers. Exteriors of the Scorpio are expected to see some more refinements. A sporty and professional stance, artistic lines and stylishly designed front grille seem to be the company's top priorities while designing the upcoming SUV. It is being said that the trendy bumpers will add a new dimension to this popular SUV.

The facelifted version of the Scorpio is expected to have the same engine features as that of the current model available in the automotive market. This means that the revamped version will retain the same 2.2-litre engine with advanced mHawk technology that offers an impressive power of up to 120 bhp. The engine will be mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. However, the company seems to be all set to discard the automatic transmission version.

It is noteworthy to mention that Mahindra Scorpio has put on a good show in the domestic market since its inception over a decade ago. The vehicle still enjoys pretty decent performance in the automotive market, which can be quantified from the fact that companies manages to sell around 4000 units of the SUV per month. The news of the expected launch of the facelifted version of the Scorpio SUV has received a lot of interest from analysts and industry experts. It is expected that Mahindra & Mahindra might define a new interior theme and opt for a superior plastic quality. Interestingly, Scorpio is known for its excellent interiors and adding a new flavour is expected to go well with customers and enthusiasts.

Industry experts believe that the rise in the SUV segment is going boost the sales of the facelifted version of the Scorpio. It is believed that the facelifted version of the new car is likely to be priced higher than the current version. However, analysts believe that the success of the current version will surely help the new car to excel in the Indian auto market.
