      Ducati Commences its Indian Operations, Launches Entire Range

      The Italian sportbike maker, Ducati that re-entered in the Indian market in March 2015, today opened its globally largest dealership in Gurgaon. This new dealership has capacity to display the entire range of the Ducati bikes. The showroom also sports a lounge area and merchandise section.

      The sportsbikes that are on display at the new showroom include the recently unveiled new Scrambler, Monster, Hypermotard, Panigale, Multistrada, Streetfighter and Diavel. The company has commenced the delivery process today in India. All bikes will be imported as CBUs (Completely build units) from Thailand.

      Currently, there are three dealerships of Ducati – Guragon, Delhi and Mumbai - that offer sales and after-sales support for existing Ducati owners. While, the Bangalore dealership will be opened in October, 2015. The Italian bikemaker is planning to expand its reach across India, and open its dealerships in Eastern, Western and Southern regions of the country.

      The Ducati Scrambler is the most affordable lineup from the Italian bikemaker. Powering the bike is an 803cc L-twin engine that mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine delivers a maximum power of 75Ps and 68Nm. The new Ducati Monster, on the other hand, is the naked street fighter that powered with an 821cc L-twin engine, which is good for 112PS and 89.4Nm. The Ducati Hypermotard and Hyperstrada are propelled with a 110PS, 821cc L-twin engine, while the Ducati 899 Panigale and Diavel derive their power from a 148PS, 898cc L-twin and 162PS, 1198.4cc engines respectively.
