DSK Motowheels, the two-wheeler subsidiary of DSK Group is readying to launch a new brand is India named, Benelli. The launch will take place on October 17th in India. Benelli is a renowned Italian brand that offers a variety of two-wheelers ranging from 50cc, two-stroke scooters to full blown 1130cc Tornado Tre sportsbike. Most of the new vehicle rolled out by Benelli come equipped with smaller capacity engines. However there is yet no clarity on what all products will Benelli introduce in India, but it is being believed that the company could bring Benelli BN302, all-new naked motorcycle. BN302 houses an athletic 300cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC, twin cylinder engine capable of churning out maximum power of 37 PS. Other than BN302, rumours suggest that BN600 range could also be brought to India. The BN600 range could include touring bike and naked streetfighter employed with the same 16 valve, DOHC, 600cc, inline four-cylinder engine developing pinnacle power of 82 PS. Induction of BN600 range in India will give bike enthusiasts a chance to ride a more robust offering as most of the bikes offered in India are confined to 250/300cc capacity.
DSK also has a tie-up with Hyosung, however it has been learnt that the new alliance formed between DSK and Benelli will not have any repercussions on its partnership with Hyosung.
