It is no secret that Toyota’s India explicit Etios twins are soon going to be rolled out in a new avatar. As far as the launch of Etios sedan and Liva hatchback is concerned, there is yet no official word out yet from the auto giant. However, according to our close sources, Etios twins will be launched in India this week. With the festive season running, it seems that Toyota might launch facelift variants of the both vehicles soon.
Modifications made to the vehicle are confined to cosmetic tweaks while mechanically both the cars will remain unchanged. Etios sedan will get a restyled front tooth grille and chrome accents, besides this the sedan will not receive any other major change. Cabin will now feature leather wrapped steering wheel, door armrests with a new fabric insert and chrome garnish near the gear-lever. Though, the catch is that these features might go missing in the entry level or mid variants.
Other equipments such as electrically adjustable wing mirrors and rear parking sensors are likely to be seen in the vehicle. The high end trim will continue to come with driver and front passenger airbags, while other variants in the range could also equipped with driver side airbag as a standard fitment. Under the hood will be the same 1.2 litre, petrol and 1.4 litre diesel engines. On the price front, both the cars are likely to receive a slight price bump as a result of various tweaks and addition of new features.
