The German government has officially announced participation of German auto companies and auto component makers at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2010. All export oriented German companies related to the automotive industry will be present at the German pavilion at the Auto Expo. The German pavilion will offer an attractive platform to these companies to showcase fine German engineering under one roof. There will be nearly 70 such companies and the Managing Director of German Association of Automotive Industry (VDA), Mr Achim Rauber, expressed how impressed these companies are by the incredible Economic Dynamism in India and showed their optimism in opportunities awaiting both the countries in the automotive sector.

India has already increased its exports to Germany by 20 percent. Small cars made in India were few of the best selling models past year. Moreover, these models performed extremely well when the governments launched the scrappage scheme to promote small cars.

Similarly, German suppliers have also been able to increase their exports to India since 2007. This is the second time when Germany is officially participating at the Delhi Auto Expo. It also marked its presence in 2008 and with India becoming one of the most promising markets, Germany is looking forward to doing more business with Indian customers.
