The Citroen Berlingo has been spotted undergoing load testing in Europe. This new van will also be sold with a Peugeot badge in several markets, christened as the Partner.
The current Citroen Berlingo and Peugeot Partner have been on sale since nine years ago and have been long overdue for an update. The spy shots indicate that the new Partner will be larger in size, although it retains the silhouette and overall styling of the current car. The doors are also bigger to improve ease of ingress and egress as well as cargo loading.
Even though they will share the platform and a bunch of other components to save development and production costs, the Partner and the Berlingo will adopt different styling according to their brands’ design philosophy. As such, we can expect different set of front grilles, bumpers, headlights and interior layout for the Partner and Berlingo. Expect both these cars to be unveiled by the end of this year, as a 2018 model.
