BMW India will add two more vehicles to the M family before the end of this year. The new additions in M series include M3 saloon and M4 coupe. Both the vehicles will be launched in domestic market in the month on November 26. Rivalling the likes of Audi RS5 and lately revealed Mercedes C63 AMG, the new M3 saloon will get a 3.0 litre, M TwinPower Turbo, Inline six cylinder petrol engine. The athletic engine is good for 431 Bhp of towering power along with 550 Nm of staggering torque. A seven-speed DCT transmission will be paired to the engine channelizing power to rear wheels. The new M3 accelerates from stand still to 100 kmph within 4.1 second and attains top speed of 250 kmph.
A host of safety equipments have been embedded in the new M3 such as driving assistant, speed limit info, head-up display with M-specific display among others.
The other vehicle slated to be launched along with M3 saloon is M4 coupe. Both the vehicles are largely similar, except for the additional passenger capacity M3 offers. Based on the same platform, both the Ms share same dimensions, however, M3 is a tad bit higher and heavier than M4. Mechanically also there is a strong similarity as both come equipped with the same engines, suspension set up and features.
