The BMW i3 is brought to life using carbon-fibre reinforced plastic and claims to be the first zero emission mass produced vehicle by the BMW group. Moreover, this car also makes BMW, the first premium brand to usher in compact electric vehicle brand in Europe. The carmaker has successfully overcome challenges faced while developing a carbon-fibre composite structure that helps the vehicle gain more strength and rigidity while still managing to make the vehicle cost-effective and lightweight at the same time. The 19-inch alloys compliment the mind-blowing dynamics of the vehicle.

The interior in BMW i3 is stated to be based on LifeDrive architecture that delivers easy 5 passenger occupancy and easy road view ahead. Wood can be seen on the instrument panel, whereas recycled polyester has been used for covering seats. As for the dashboard, you may find good use of tanned leather and renewal fibres. Entertainment section is taken care of by the 6.5-inchiDrive in harmony device.
