Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, launched its Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE) at the Buddh International circuit in Greater Noida on 5th July 2012. The initiative is first of its kind in the country using high-end sports cars. It will offer a chance to auto aficionados acclimate, drive and be trained intensively in the engineering masterpiece, Audi R8 V10.
Highlights of the program will include attractive format, dynamic slalom, lap training modules, globally renowned trainers, several Audi R8 V10 super cars and one of the most exciting racing circuits of the world. The performance oriented 5.2 litre powertrain of the Audi R8 V10 delivers excessive power of 523 hp, which is best suitable for such kinds of initiatives.

The ASE is organised in two different phases, namely Audi racetrack experience and Audi racetrack experience advanced. In the first phase, skills like handling, steering, braking and sector training on a race-track will be honed by the trained instructors. The sector training will involve acclimating the driver with every nook and corner of the racetrack and to tread the track bit by bit before tackling the whole circuit.
Whereas, the ‘racetrack experience advanced’ concentrates more upon the racing line and regularity tests to get better of the whole track. Dynamic performance and fun behind the wheel is what this exclusive program promises to the drivers.
Perschke further added, “The advanced program will only be made available to those who complete the racetrack experience and are deemed eligible by our instructors to move ahead to the second level of the program. This unique concept will also give the participants an opportunity to enrol in an international race experience.”
Across the globe, ASE is conducted on the race tracks of Barcelona, Nürburgring, Euro Speedway Lausitz, Salzburgring, Dubai and in Spa, Belgium. In India, the Audi racetrack experience will be launched between July 5 and July 7, 2012. TBD ‘Audi racetrack experience’ will be held between July-September, while ‘Audi racetrack experience advanced’ will be organised between October-December.
Different packages offered by Audi includes 'Only Experience' priced at Rs. 98,000, 'Experience + local shuttle' at Rs. 1,10,000 and ' Experience + local shuttle + hotel stay' at Rs. 1,25,000. These packages are exclusive of all applicable taxes.
Aditya Patel, racing driver, Audi India, who recently won the title to take his team to victory in 24 hrs of Nuerburgring, is also an Audi driving experience instructor.
