      Audi India to showcase S6 sedan and Q3 SUV at the Delhi International Auto Expo

      The Indian subsidiary of the Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi is mulling to launch two new India portfolio cars in the country next year. The company plans to launch S6 sedan and Q3 sports utility vehicle in the Indian auto market in year 2012, which will be helping the firm in achieving its previously set sales growth target of 40 percent for next calendar year. Both of these cars are expected to showcase at the Delhi International Auto Expo in the month of January 2012.

      While speaking to the reporters, Audi India Head Michael Perschke said, "The study is going on to introduce S6 in the Indian market. We are thinking to launch it during the second quarter of next year." He added that the firm is also looking forward to introduce small size sports utility vehicles (SUV) Q3 in the country. "We may launch Q3 in India very soon. It will most probably come in during the second half of 2012," he added.

      Besides these two cars, the company will also display its electric hybrid version of A3 sedan at the International auto expo at Delhi.

      In the current year, the company has sold 5,100 units of its cars in the Indian market so far, and aims to cross the sales mark of 5,400 unit by the end of this year with a sales surge of 80 percent. The company had sold 3,003 units of its cars in the Indian market last year.
