Abhishek Bachchan steps in the list of Audi Holders wit his new Audi A8L

The well known Bollywood superstar, Abhishek Bachchan was spotted in a brand new Audi A8 L (limousine) in recent times. In March, it was speculated that Junior Bachchan booked an Audi A8 L for his new born daughter, Aaradhya, who was born in January this year. The star paid around Rs. 2 crores for the new Audi. However, gifting expensive cars in Bollywood industry is not happened for the first time. Recently Karan Johar presented a Ferrari to Hrithik Roshan in lieu of his success for the movie Agneepath.

After buying an Audi, Abhishek Bachchan was also listed among Bollywood personalities that are ambitious owners of Audi. Starts like Salman Khan, John Abraham and Gul Panag are few of the known superstars that are currently driving an Audi. However, analysts also speculate that Junior Bachchan opted for an Audi A8 because the name of German luxurious car maker begins with the similar alphabet of which his daughter’s name starts ‘A’. Moreover, Aaradhya has eight letters and thus the name of model A8.

Considering the technical specifications of Audi A8L owned by Bachchan, the car is assimilated with a 4.2 litre V8 TDI engine that has the potential to generate maximum power of 323 bhp. In addition, the peak torque attained by the engine of Audi A8L is 650 Nm at a low rpm. Owing to these brilliant emissions, the engine of Audi A8L smoothly glides from 0-100 kmph in a short span of 5.9 seconds, which is followed to a top speed of 250 kmph.

In addition to a powerful engine, the car also holds most of the advanced features that suits the lifestyle of these superstars. These advancements include four zone automatic air conditioning systems, rear seat entertainment system, two piece panoramic sunroof, ambient lightning system and relaxation system for passengers.
