Sources reveal that the riders have already started testing for 2015 season on the new GSX-R1000. Since Suzuki finished on the second spot during the last season, it now hopes to end at pole position with the new bike. The commencing round of 2015 season will be organized at Bol d’Or 24-hour on 18th April. Reportedly, the bike will be equipped with a 999 cc 4-stroke, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 16-valve engine, which is expected to turn the waves in favor of Japanese auto maker at World Endurance Championship.

One of the key features to see in new GSX-R1000 will be the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS). This unique system facilitates the rider to choose from the three fuel-injection and ignition-system maps, helping the rider to adjust the power delivery as per his personal preferences. In order to control this function, a button is provided on the left handlebar, which lets the rider switch between the three options.
