Audi has finally launched the 2015 A6 Matrix in India at an impressive price of Rs 49.50 lakhs. This new business class sedan packs in a lot more than the previous iteration. Most importantly, it gets Matrix headlights which are also seen on the flagship A8L. Promising to be generations ahead than its rivals, the Matrix lights make use of small individual light-emitting diodes to lighten the surface ahead. In addition, it also sports dynamic turn indicators which glow in a sequential fashion.
The exterior design of the 2015 Audi A6 Matrix has also been revised with a crisper looking front and sharper profile lines. The grille has got a revision and so have the rear tail lamps which now look crystalline and precise. The silhouette appears as dynamic with a stretched wheelbase which promises of greater cabin space. While the interiors of Audi A6 have always been a treat with dollops of space and a long list of features, the new version gets a further enriched experience with subtle updates in the form of revised trims and features such as Audi drive select with adaptive air suspension, MMI with handwriting recognition and navigation, intuitive dialogue recognition system, Bose Surround system and four zone automatic air conditioning.
The new Audi A6 incorporates many bets in class features which have been specifically added keeping Indian consumers in mind. Mechanically, it is powered by 2.0TDI engine with S-tronic transmission and not much has been changed in this department. The greater focus on safety can be seen in the new A6 as it is now offered with 8 airbags, two of which are dedicated to the rear occupants. Truly, Audi knows how to offer the right products with the correct levels of technology, features and sophistication and the new A6 Matrix is a testimony of it.
