Japanese bike-maker Yamaha has been known to deliver bikes with style and technology in the Indian market. The bike-maker has just launched the face-lifted version of FZ series motorbikes in the country. The newer bike versions have been rechristened as 'FZ-S F1 Version 2.0' and 'FZ F1 Version 2.0'. As part of Yamaha's new Blue Core technology, the bike sports the new fuel injection technology. The latest technology is stated to better mileage figures, enhance the process of combustion and reduce power loss situation.
The new Yamaha FZ bikes are stated to be powered by 149.1cc engine that generates about 12.8 Nm of torque with 13.1 Ps of power. The newer bike engines are deliberately slightly smaller in output to deliver impressive efficiency figures of upto 14%. Apart from this, the bike has received minor cosmetic upgrades to enhance its overall style. With the new developments, the service interval has also been switched to about 6000 kms.
The Japanese bike-maker Yamaha has launched the FZ-S F1 Version 2.0 at an attractive price tag of about Rs. 78,250 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), whereas the FZ F1 Version 2.0 is priced at about Rs. 76,250 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). Overall, the new bikes are also stated to be lighter in weight, thereby further assisting with better dynamics and delivering better efficiency figures.
