After rolling out aggressively priced Fiesta diesel sedan in India, Ford is getting ready for a string of launches lined for next year. Among the new vehicles two facelifted versions including Figo’s new model and Endeavour’s new avatar will be introduced. Besides these, the company will come up with a new sub-four meter Figo sedan that will be positioned as a replacement of Classic sedan in India.

Ford recently introduced newly developed SYNC multimedia interface in Fiesta facelift which is expected to be offered on all three vehicles. Apart from SYN, the company will also bestow all three cars with AppLink that will also include popular Indian Apps including CricInfo and MapMyIndia. Introduction of the globally acclaimed, frugal 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is on the cards. However, it has been learnt that Ford might revamp the engine a tad in order to yield 100 PS of maximum power. This engine is likely to be seen in Figo facelift and Figo sedan.

Figo’s successor is likely to don comprehensive modifications in the form of an array of tweaks inside the cabin, addition of new features and cosmetic revivifications. The tweaked Figo will be launched in Brazil as KA hatchback, images of which were recently released by Ford Brazil. Next in the line is Figo sedan that was showcased earlier this year at the 2014 Auto Expo held in Greater Noida and will be introduced in Brazil as Ka+ sedan. Ford Brazil officially released interior and exterior images of KA twins of late that gave us a glimpse as to how the production versions of both the vehicles will look. For domestic market the Figo sedan will be a sub-four meter offering. Apart from the 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine, a diesel powertrain will also be put on offing. The diesel motor is expected to be the same tweaked powertrain that has been introduced in refreshed Fiesta diesel.

The new generation Endeavour sold in international markets as Everest will be inducted later in 2015. The new generation Endeavour SUV is also expected to come with spruced up interiors, several cosmetic upgrades and additional features. This is a much needed revamp for the SUV that has been garnering low sales in domestic market for quite some time now. Hopefully these vehicles will help the car maker to surge demand for its vehicles in India.
