Yamaha FZ FI and FZ S FI were unveiled officially almost three months ago. However, there were no official snap shots of the bikes at the time of the launch. AT that point, Yamaha did not reveal much about the Fazer FI, however, some snaps have now been revealed of the new facelift version of the Fazer. This bike has now reached one of the showrooms located in Gurgaon, Haryana.
There are a number of changes that has been installed in the new bike, FZ S FI. These include split seats, tyre hugger, a brand new silencer, refurbished fuel tank, new instrument cluster, a chic number plate holder, tail lamp cluster and some more. There are few modifications on the fairing; as well that differentiates it from the old variant. As the snap shots reveal, the front fascia has been given a serious makeover to give it an attractive and aggressive appeal.
There is not much change in the engine of the new bike as the Fazer FI 2.0 is powered by the same version as its non-faired models. The 149 cc four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, fuel injection engine has been tweaked slightly to boost the efficiency. It generates a maximum power of 13.1 bhp with a torque output of 12.8 Nm. However, Yamaha has introduced the Blue Core technology, riding which the efficiency is expected to get hiked by almost 14 per cent.
Instead of directly going for a huge launch, Yamaha might as well sell it directly to the dealers. However, with the all new aggressive styling and improved specifications, it is expected that the bikes will be quite popular among the fans.
