      Volkswagen India launches unique Text Drive contest online

      The Indian unit of the largest European car maker Volkswagen has started a unique contest for its Indian customers – Text Drive. The participants of Text Drive contest will be holding a chance to win a brand new Volkswagen Polo model.

      It seems like Volkswagen India has learned a thing or two from the utility vehicle giant Mahindra & Mahindra, which had created huge excitement and popularity among the Indian buyers for its new sports utility vehicle XUV 500 through a unique online contest – Guess the Price. The online contest from Mahindra achieved mega success with over 1.15 lakh visitors participating in the contest. The contest helped the company in attracting over 6.5 lakh visitors at its website.

      To register for this Volkswagen’s Text Drive contest, you need to visit the website – http://textdrive.co.in - where interested visitors can login to their Text Drive account. After creating the account, you will be asked to choose a Volkswagen India portfolio model, which in turn will let you earn fuel. The fuel figures will then help you in earning kilometers.

      The chance of winning a Volkswagen merchandize will depend on the kilometers you gain during the contest. The participant who comes out with highest kilometers will be given a brand new Volkswagen Polo model. For scoring kilometers, the participants will have to perform daily tasks that comprises of sharing posts on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, and answering quiz questions.
