As prospective customers eagerly wait in anticipation for the launch of Maruti Vitara Brezza in India, sources have managed to click pictures of the top-end ZDi+ trim. It is believed that the vehicle’s image had been clicked during training exercise carried out for sales and dealership personnel. Dealers have already started accepting bookings for the Vitara Brezza for Rs 21,000, with the deliveries set to begin by the end of March this year.
Powered by a 1.3-liter DDiS four-cylinder diesel engine that is mated to 5-speed manual transmission, the Maruti Vitara Brezza shall generate about 89bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. Based on what can be seen in the image, the top-end variant seems to have given a miss to the contrasting roof. The upcoming model features projector headlights with LED daytime running lamps, rear wiper/washer, wing mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome garnished rear registration plate enclosure and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Maruti has also been contemplating on plans to introduce a petrol Vitara Brezza variant at a later date. In terms of safety, the driver side airbag has been offered as standard across variants. It is anticipated to be priced around Rs 7.5 lakh.
