The Quanto compact SUV from Mahindra though generated interest among new car buyers, it failed to generate big numbers in terms of sales. Recently, the vehicle codenamed S101 was spotted undergoing road test in the country and the same is expected to be renamed as either CUV100 or XUV100. Whereas, the Quanto facelift is likely to be renamed as XUV300 or CUV300.
The upcoming XUV300 is expected to be powered by the same 1.5 Litre engine. However, sources have also indicated that it may receive the new mHawk100 engine. It is also being said that the US based design team has been worked upon to render it a refreshed look. Sources have also indicated that the vehicle may also be offered with AMT (automated manual transmission). More details about the vehicle may be revealed soon.
