      Two-tone colour scheme revealed in 2015 line-up of Indian Motorcycles

      Indian Motorcycles, the well-known two-wheeler manufacturer from United States of America, has taken curtains off its line-up of bikes for 2015. It was revealed that its Indian Chief series of bikes, which have a starting price of around $20000, will be offered in two-tone paint schemes. The American company’s revelation came at an event called Vintage Motorcycle Days, a festival that attracts bike aficionados from around USA.

      The announcement regarding the two-tone paints brought a lot of joy to the brand loyalists, who seemed visibly excited as the iconic vintage paint palettes were shown during the classic bike extravaganza in Ohio. However, the announcement regarding at the Vintage Motorcycle Days event was only limited to the colour-scheme. The rest of the details, pertaining to information on all models of 2015 along with their features and prices will be announced on 2nd August. An upcoming event, the 74th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally from 2nd to 9th August in Sturgis, South Dakota, will make the two-tone variants of Chief Classic, Chieftain and Chief Vintage available for demo rides. Sources claim that the bikes are going to be available at dealerships in the fall of 2015.

      The two-tone version of 2015 Indian Chief Classic will be available in Indian Motorcycle Red and Thunder Black combination along with the option of solid Indian Motorcycle Red. Options available for the 2015 Chief Vintage model are more, including Indian Motorcycle Red with Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red with Ivory Cream and Willow Green with Ivory Cream. Lastly, the 2015 Chieftain is going to be available Indian Motorcycle Red with Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red with Ivory Cream and Springfield Blue with Ivory Cream.

      Steve Menneto, Vice President of Indian Motorcycle, spoke about the 2015 line-up in an interview and said, “Two-tone paint schemes are among the most iconic elements of vintage Indian motorcycles dating back about 80 years, giving the bikes a look and feel that is instantly recognizable and beloved by motorcycle fans.”

      “It is exciting to reintroduce two-tone paint for our 2015 Indian Chief models. These paint schemes pay tribute to Indian bikes of the past but come coupled with the exceptional technology and power that the 2015 Chief line-up offers. They are simply stunning, and the quality and craftsmanship of the paint jobs is exceptional. We’re excited to share these beautiful bikes now, and will share more news with our fans on August 2nd,” he added later.
