Toyota recently announced their domestic sales figures for January 2018, which show a growth of 19 per cent. The carmaker sold 12,351 cars last month as against 10,336 units sold in the same month a year ago.
The cumulative sales figures stood at 13,239 units with 888 units of the Etios Series exported last month. Though the company had managed to export 916 units in January 2017, the increase in domestic sales still managed to keep up the cumulative sales numbers.
The success in good sales at the start of the year can be attributed to the sales of the Innova Crysta and the Fortuner. These models have a great demand in the country, so much so, that the carmaker had to push their production capacity to meet the demand.
