The slick-looking four-door utilizes a rear-wheel drive setup and a choice of two engines - a 2.5L or 3.5L V-6. Both motors are mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox and are said to be quite powerful and fuel efficient. Officials are quick to point out the 2.5L as the one that qualifies for Japanese government incentives and subsidiesbecause ofits fuel efficiency. It can also propel the sedan to 100 kmph in 8.4 sec. Fuel consumption is rated at 13.0km/l (10-15 test cycle) for the 2.5 liter V6 (two wheel drive) and 10.2km/l for the 3.5 liter V6.
