      Tata Motors revises price of its entire line-up

      Indian auto major, Tata Motors has revised prices of entire line-up owing to the excise duty cut announced last month.A price cut ranging from Rs 7000 to Rs 45,000 has been announced on Tata Cars, depending on the model one picks.

      Tata Motors’ petite hatchback, Nano is now cheaper by Rs 8,000 and is available for sale at Rs 1.41 lakh. With a reduction of Rs 15,000 in its price, Indica eV2 is being offered at a starting price of Rs 3.85 lakh. Indigo eCS compact sedan on the hand is now cheaper by Rs 17,000 and is available for sale at Rs 4.82 lakh. Tata Manza sedan witnessed a price cut of Rs 20,000, its basic model is now priced at Rs 8.07 lakh.

      Tata’s flagship SUV, Safari and its new generation model Storme are being offered with the highest price reduction of Rs 35,000 and Rs 45,000.

      Tata is also gearing up to launch new version of its crossover Aria which could be launched anytime in March. Aria’s tweaked version was expected to be shown at the 2014 Auto Expo, however the company did not exhibit facelifted Aria at the grandiose event keeping the tweaks given to the SUV to be shown later at the launch. However, our sources got their hands at some of the leaked information on the new Aria.

      Rumors suggest that Tata could bestow new Aria with an automatic transmission. A 2.2 litre VARICOR turbo diesel engine could also be equipped pumping an enhanced power output of 148 Bhp as compared to the current 138 Bhp.

      Tweaks will be given both to the exterior and interior fronts in the form of reworked smoked head lights, revivified bumper and grille, full leather upholstery, new Harman music system with 6 speakers, navigation system and few others.
