Tata Motors had launched the Bolt sometime back and it seems that the car has been able to get a stronghold in the market already. The hatch has been offered in four different trim varieties, XMs, XM, XE and the high-end XT. Apparently, as of now, the XMS variety has been enjoying the most attention from the customers. Another interesting aspect for the company is that the petrol cars have been getting more attention as compared to the diesel ones in the last few months. The case was quite opposite even some years back as the company was famous for its diesel models.
The sales of the Zest have been witnessing quite a hike in the last few months and with the Bolt launched just in the same format, it is expected to meet similar grounds in respect of targets. Also, this has been helped by the reducing gap in the price of petrol and diesel. The petrol variant is quite cheaper when compared against the diesel model and it is almost obvious that the XMS variant will be the flag-bearer for the company.
However, if you are looking forward to buy the XMS variant, you will lose out on some top specifications, which are featured in the XT only. Tata has loaded all the variants with safety features, though, and you do not long for anything more, irrespective of the variant you go for. Dual-front airbags, ABS with electronic brake distribution, Tata’s all-new Corner Stability Control (CSC) make sure that the cars are replete with safety features.
Tata Bolt is priced at 564113 INR (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and it seems that the customers are in for some value-for-money options with this car. Undoubtedly, this factor is one of the main ones contributing for the high popularity of the XMS variant.
