In recent times, Suzuki has witnessed immense success in the Indian motorcycle segment due to the overwhelming response that came GS 150R's way, along with wide acceptance of Access 125 variomatic scooter.

For the 2012 Auto Expo, Suzuki is expected to foray into the sub-250cc performance bike segment using its Inazuma 250 that was showcased in front of the U.K. audience some time back. The upcoming motorbike will have an upper hand over the Ninja 250R and the CBR 250R as it would likely be placed below the two bikes in terms of price. While CBR 250R has performed well in the market, its average bodywork proves to be a negative point. However, the Inazuma will not carry this problem as it has been affixed with an extra cylinder.

The design of Inazuma 250 seems to share platform with Suzuki's B-King and a simple yet attractive appearance will make the bike look more desirable. As the Inazuma 250 enters the Indian market, it would be the first ever bike in the country to carry twin tailpipes, especially in the non-import class. Thus, with this feature, the bike is ought to attract young bike enthusiasts even with additional weight. The front forks display a traditional look as they are not upside down and the rear forks possess monoshock, with disc at both the tyres.

The images of Inazuma 250 suggest that the body has been designed in order to suit long drives rather than off-track conditions. The single seat has been built with considerable difference in the levels of front and rear part and the handlebars have satisfactory height. Suzuki has not divulged any details regarding the specifications; however, one can expect the motor to deliver a maximum power of 24-28 bhp.

Along with the Inazuma, Suzuki has also decided to bring out the 2012 range of international motorcycles that comprise the GSX-R 1000, GSR, Intruder M1800R and the Hayabusa. Lately launched Intruder M800 cruiser is also likely to make its way to the Suzuki stand at the Auto Expo 2012.

Thus, Suzuki has big plans for the Indian two wheeler market and apparently, it seems that the company will be coming up with India-oriented bikes to entice maximum customers.
