      Ssangyong Tivoli showcased for global market - What to expect?

      Ssangyong a Mahindra owned international brand has recently pulled off the wraps over Tivoli compact SUV, which was earlier known as X100. The new vehicle has been showcased in Seoul, South Korea. At the launch event, Anand Mahindra, Mahindra group chairman was quoted as saying, “Tivoli marks a significant new milestone in the growing partnership between Mahindra and Ssangyong. This SUV epitomizes the spirit of 'Korea-can-do' and reflects Ssangyong's rich legacy of innovation in product development.”

      Ssangyong Tivoli gets a petrol as well diesel engine. The petrol trim gets a 1.6 liter engine mated to a optional six-speed automatic generates about 124 bhp of power. Whereas, in the diesel version, the vehicle also gets a 1.6 liter engine that is mated to manual as well as an optional automatic transmission. Speaking on the safety aspect the vehicle gets, seven airbags (driver and co-driver, side curtain and driver’s knee), ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution), etc. The luggage carrying space is also indeed impressive with about 423 Liter capacity boot. Apart from five variants featuring white or black contrast roof, the vehicle gets interesting eight exterior shades.

      Inside the cabin area, you may come across flat-bottomed multi-functional steering wheel, a central touchscreen with integrated Maps, automatic climate control and multi-information display, etc. The other additions include perforated seats, tablet holder and switchable instrument cluster display. The black and red color theme for the interior is also rather impressive.
