It is basically the Datsun Go with an additional third row of seats for kids. The front fascia of the car remains the same; the side profile largely looks identical to its hatchback sibling till the C-Pillar. Despite being a seven-seater MPV, Datsun managed to keep its length under four metres. Talking about its dimensions, the Go+ MPV is 3,995mm long, 1,635mm wide, and 1,490mm high and it comes with a decent wheelbase of 2,450mm. The vehicle offers a very little boot space of 48-litres, but it can be increased up to 347-litres by folding the third row of seats. Its wheel arches have been fitted to 13-inch wheels shod with 155/70R13 tyres. The ground clearance stands at 170mm, which is pretty decent considering Indian city road conditions.

The Datsun Go+ MPV will be made available in four variants- D, D1, A and T. The top-end variant gets power steering and all power windows, the A and T variants get air conditioning. As standard addition, the Go+ MPV has mobile docking system and front power windows. Under the bonnet is the 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 67bhp and a peak torque of 104Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wheels of the sub-compact MPV via a five-speed manual gearbox. This engine is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy of 20.62kmpl.
