      SsangYong plans on launching its new model 'Tivoli' by January 2015

      Yoo Il Lee, the CEO of Ssangyong Motor Company, has recently announced the name of the company’s new Beta-segment crossover. It has been named as 'Tivoli' and is under development phase from the last three years. The automobile manufacturer has already displayed the concept variant at the recently concluded international motor events under the project name of X100. The car is scheduled to be launched in Korea by the beginning of the January in 2015.

      This manufacturer has revealed the name of the model, with a number of latest photos of the interiors and the exteriors of the car. The pictures show that the model has a strong resemblance with respect of designs from a popular SUV. With a new design and appearance, the car is set to create ripples in the automobile sector.

      The crossover model is one, which imparts comfort both to the rear as well as front seats with capacious as well as luxurious interiors. The car also is equipped with latest apparatus for proper connectivity with IT devices. Apart from this factor, ample storage space is on offer that imparts the practicability factor.

      When the mechanistic aspects are seen, the Ssangyong is expected to carry either a 1.6 litre petrol mill or even a 1.6 litre diesel engine. The car will also be provided with an option of two or foul-wheel drive system with six-speed automatic or manual gearbox. Though the power output is yet to be confirmed, however, the two-wheel drive diesel model will be able to produce approximately 120 g per kilometre of CO2.
