Skoda has updated the Kushaq and Slavia with new variants and now BS6 2 compliant engines ahead of the deadline on April 1, 2023. This update also sees both cars get new features options and in the case of the Kushaq also a new special edition.
Engine updates
The 1.0-litre TSI and the 1.5 TSI are now both BS 6 compliant, comply to the new RDE regulations and are also capable of running E20 grade fuel. Skoda also claims a seven per cent increase in fuel efficiency and we should be able to give you claimed figures once Skoda releases them.
New variants for 1.5-litre TSI evo engine
The powerful 1.5-litre TSI evo engine that wasd previously only available for the Style trim can now be had in the Ambition trim level also. This engine produces 148bhp/250Nm and can be had with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG.
Dual tone paint scheme
Buyers of both cars can now go for dual tone paint options that were earlier only available in the higher variants. With the SLAVIA 1.5 Ambition, customers can choose between a crystal blue shade with a black roof and a Carbon Steel shade with a silver roof. Buyers of the Kushaq 1.5 Ambition could make a choice between a honey orange shade with a black roof and a carbon steel coloured body with a silver roof.
