Festivities are on verge of commencing in India; hence car makers are vying to come up with lucrative schemes and offers to lure customers to showrooms. Renault India has doled out a remunerative offer on its popular compact SUV, Duster. The company is offering basic version of diesel powered Duster dubbed RxE (D) at a slashed price of Rs 8.18 lakh, which is around Rs 52,000 lesser than its actual price at 8.70 lakh (ex-showroom price). This offer is valid for a limited time only, hence prospective buyers can avail this offer only until September 15, 2014.
Although booking period for the basic diesel RxE variant available at reduced price ends on September 15, 2014, deliveries for the same will begin only towards the end of this month when Navratri begins. Besides this, customers will also be entitled to other benefits such as warranty coverage for 2+2 years or 80,000 kms whatever comes first.
Renault Duster diesel variant is powered by the 1.5 litre diesel powertrain capable of engendering a top power output of 84 Bhp along with a peak torque of 200 Nm. French auto maker is also working on 4X4 variant of the SUV. If media reports are to be taken into consideration, Duster’s all wheel drive variant could go on sale in India in the month of October. Besides this the company is also working on a facelift version of the SUV. Renault Duster facelift is likely to be launched early next year.
