Iconic two-wheeler manufacturer from United States of America, Harley-Davidson, seems to be in a spot of bother as it has recalled around 66421 units of Touring and CVO Touring bike, which have the model year 2014. According to several reports, the manufacturer appears to have found a glitch in the front wheels, which can lock up without any sort of warning, thereby proving to be quite fatal for riders.

This recall, sources claim, includes bikes with anti-lock braking systems (ABS) that were manufactured between the period 1st July 2013 and 7th May 2014. Officials from the company have spoken about the problem that seems to be surfacing with these bikes, stating that the front brake line could suffer from a pinch between the frame and fuel tank. This is most likely to see a rise in both front brake fluid pressure and locking up of the front wheel while the biker is riding.Over 66000 units of Harley-Davidson Touring and CVO Touring recalled

Harley- Davidson got to know about this malfunction when a couple of warranty claims came along, also reporting injuries and crashes. The manufacturer is going to send a notification to owners of the bike anytime during the month of July to inform them about the recall. Dealerships of the American firms will then replace the brake lines free of cost and straps will be attached to hold them in place.
