One of the country’s highly growing automotive companies, Nissan Motors India Pvt. Ltd has announced that its sales volume has attained a three times surge in the month of April this year. With over a marginal sale of 1,201 units scored in April last year, the financial summary disclosed an impressive growth to 3,467 units.
The Japan based auto major has reported that the surged sales figures were majorly lead by the sale of its upbeat and elegant sedan, Nissan Sunny to the tune of a high 2012 units in April 2012. Moreover, the Sunny has received a grand welcome in the country that is evident with its sales figures, which has totaled up to 16173 units since its inception in September 2011.
Nissan Motors attains three-fold sales growth in April 2012
The trendy and jazzy compact hatchback, Nissan Micra registered a favorable growth percentage of 19 percent with 1435 units sold this April. Further, the car maker said that the remaining sales were collectively contributed by the compact crossover SUV Nissan X-Trail, mid-sized luxury car Nissan Teana and Nissan 370Z sports car.
Mr. Ishida Takayuki, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India commented that the sales figures for the month of April reflects the extended concern and support provided to its customers with prompt sales and after sales service and round the clock assistance. The company is also offering extended warranty and roadside assistance with its range in the Indian portfolio in a bid to catapult the brand popularity and preference.
