      Nissan India launches Nissan Student Brand Manager (NSBM) Program

      The Indian unit of the leading Japanese car maker Nissanrecently launched the second edition of ‘Nissan Student Brand Manager’ (NSBM) Program 2011 in India. The new edition of the NSBM program 2011 will not only help the company in building its brand image but will also enable it to reach out more and more people in the country.

      The participating students have been invited from over 150 collages spread across 15 cities of the country. From a total of 1200 shortlisted candidates, only 20 will be gating chance to become ‘Nissan Student Brand Manager’. These 20 students will work as Nissan Student Brand Managers for a period of six months and will get INR 30,000 as stipend and INR 20,000 as marketing budget.

      While speaking to the students at K.J. Somaiya collage, Mr. Dinesh Jain, CEO, Hover Automotive India (HAI) said, “The Brand Manager program presents a unique challenge to the students to create a niche for them and raise the standards of excellence for their future.”

      Besides its popular mass segment compact hatchback Nissan Micra, the company sells a three other car models in the country that comprises of luxury sports utility vehicle Nissan X-Trail, premium sedan Nissan Teana and sports car Nissan 370Z.
