In the current generation Bolero, power comes from a 2.5 litre, diesel powertrain that generates pinnacle power output of 63 Bhp, while we expect that Bolero facelift will get a tweaked version of m-Hawk engine that does duty in Scorpio. The tweaked m-Hawk motor is good for towering power of 120 Bhp along with pinnacle torque of 290 Nm. However, power and torque output could be a tad different in new Bolero, modifications could be made to deliver higher efficiency. Besides this, a 1.5 litre, three cylinder, diesel mill is also expected to offered. This is the same unit that powers Quanto compact SUV. Backed by immense popularity and robust sales, Bolero is yet topping UV segment in India outnumbering its contemporary rivals. In its segment the vehicle compete with rivals like Chevrolet Tavera, Tata Sumo and Tata Movus. Current generation Bolero is priced between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh and is available in 15 variants, with an array of tweaks expected to be bestowed upon new Bolero prices are likely to undergo slight bump.
