Popular utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra seems to be all geared up to handle stiff competition in the Indian automotive market. The automaker had recently launched the new Thar facelift and next in line the company plans to reveal the much awaited next gen Bolero U301 on 30th July.
The new Mahindra Bolero is expected to be powered by a 1.5 Litre diesel engine under the hood that is capable of generating about 100 PS of power with 240 Nm of torque. The engine is expected to offer better fuel efficiency that the older trim. In terms of features, the vehicle may get a new music system with Bluetooth function and USB and AUX connectivity. The dashboard may get a smart dash of silver accent, chrome-lined instrument cluster, stylish gear knob, rear AC vents and three-spoke steering wheel.
As for safety, the vehicle may feature ABS and dual front airbags. Sources have indicated that the vehicle may likely hit showroom sometime around the festive season this year. As for pricing, it is anticipated to be offered around Rs. 8 Lakhs bracket.
