Hyundai will launch the new Verna facelift in India on February 18, 2015. Called the 4S Verna Fluidic, this is the mid-life facelift of the third generation model.The current generation model was launched in 2011 (Fluidic Verna), which is now 3 years old in the market. According to the company, the new 4S in the 2015 Verna are for improvedstyle, safety, speed and sophistication.
Talking about changes, the updated Verna has new wing shaped front grille, projector headlamps, newly designed fog lamps, wraparound tail lamps with LED inserts, etc. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to sporty 16-inch diamond cut alloys. Inside, the sedan has sliding armrest for driver with storage, height adjustment driver seat, rear arm rest, integrated 2-DIN Bluetooth compatible audio system with 1 GB internal memory, multi-functional steering wheel, etc.

The new Hyundai Verna 4S gets the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel and petrol motors. The transmission options on offer are - 4-speed automatic, 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual.The 1.4L petrol engined model is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 17.43kmpl, while the Manual version of 1.6L variant delivers 17.01kmpl and the automatic model is claimed to deliver 15.74kmpl of fuel efficiency. The 1.4L diesel variant is claimed to return an impressive mileage of 24.8kmpl, while the 1.6L variant offers 23.9kmpl of fuel efficiency. The diesel automatic delivers 19.08kmpl.
