The Renault Duster facelift is due for launch this year and could be shown at the 2016 Auto Expo. The Duster facelift will get some cosmetic upgrades and as the spy shots reveal, the facelift version will now share its styling like the Brazilian version of the Duster. The Duster will get a new set of headlamps and tail lamps, and a more muscular bonnet while the side profile will remain the same.

The Renault Duster’s diesel engine will also come with an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). We aren’t certain on which engine will get the AMT, but it will be the 83bhp version as that has been tuned for city driving. The new Duster will see revisions to its interiors too including some additional features.

Hyundai’s Creta has changed the rules for this segment as the Korean SUV is offering more features at a similar price. So, Renault is now gearing up to introduce the titivated version of its best-selling SUV. Renault is also working towards a seven-seater version for the Duster, which will be a new-generation vehicle and it will be launched only by 2018.

The French automaker will also offer a petrol engine on the Duster, which will be more refined and fuel-efficient. It too might be offered with the option of an automatic. There is no clarity on its launch date but the brand is looking at getting the petrol variant sometime in 2017.
