The Japanese auto giant Toyota has revealed the first images of its much awaited Prius C model. The car will now be displayed at the forthcoming Detroit Auto Show. As per the media reports, the new Prius C will be priced a bit lower as compared to the current model of the car. The new Prius C model will be a considerably higher fuel economy model as compared to the exiting model of the car. While developing the new Prius C, the company has give an extra emphasis on designing the car with comparatively faster driving dynamics.
Powered by a 1.5 liter four - cylinder engine, which comes joined with an electric motor. Together, the whole engine system of the car delvers a considerably high mileage of 50 mpg on city roads. The new Prius C is about 4.3 inches shorter as compared to the length of its rival Honda Fit. Overall length of the car would be 157.3 inches, about one and a half feet less as compared to the length of 157.3 inches.
The major attractions of the car in include vertical air-lamps, a newly designed dashboard, Bluetooth hands free connectivity, newly added advanced Entune entertainment system, weather updates, radio, GPS navigation system and steering mounted volume control. The car will come loaded with a range of safety and security features including ABS and multiple airbags (as many as 9 airbags).
