      Mercedes-Benz India introduced its third generation M-Class in the market featuring new design language. Moving ahead in the line of its predecessors, the new M-Class comes with new look and delivers high performance and better fuel economy. ‘Best or Nothing’ philosophy is exhibited by New M-Class Mercedes-Benz.

      The M-Class design is opening new ways for the development of the SUV concept. W166 series can be easily recognised as the M-Class due its unmistakable style. Further, the on-road character of the vehicle is emphasized by the horizontal lines at the rear. In the cabin, the continuation of these lines can be seen.

      With new technology, design and performance, this new car creates benchmark. Apart from powerful exterior, the new M-Class has excellent interior. Compared to its competitors, the car is more safe and comfortable. It also has high load compartment capacity. It has a much sleeker frame, which gives it an edge over its competitors. Even though, it has a gigantic size, it does not look bulkier. The width and length of this car are also increased considerably.

      Easy Pack Tailagate, Airmatic Air Suspension, Active Parking Assist, 20 inches AMG Body Styling & Alloy Wheels, Mini Spare Wheel and Designo Leather Interiors are its standard features.

      Being an off-roader, the new car has advanced technologies, which helps in customising setting for Electronic Stability Program (ESP), automatic transmission, engine performance, Electronic Traction System and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). All these can be operated with one touch of a button.

      While developing this car, the company has kept the safety aspect in mind. Hence, new safety technology is incorporated in this car. Due to the presence of nine airbags, maximum safety is ensured in case of a collision. The PRE-SAFE technology in the car prevents the occurrence of accident to a great extent. Keeping in mind the protection of the individual, this off-roarder has been developed. Fuel consumption and emission is minimised by the inbuilt ECO start-stop function. During traffic signals and traffic jams, the engine is automatically switched off.

      Attention assist is a new generation technology, which alerts the driver whenever drowsiness is detected in case of long journey. Other features of this car are a new rearview camera and Active Parking Assist with integrated PARKTRONIC technology. Due to these features it earned EURO NCAP 5 Star rating. In the SUV segment, the M-Class is most popular. The company has already sold more than 1500 units of this SUV in India.
