Talking about the engine, the S500 Coupe will be powered by a 4.7-litre V8 twin-turbo engine that puts out a maximum power of 453bhp at 5,250rpm – 5,500rpm. It’s the same engine that powers the S500 sedan, and is assembled locally. Whereas, the S63 AMG will derive its power from a 5.5-litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine that is mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission. This powertrain produces 585bhp of power and a torque of 900Nm.

While with the RWD (rear wheel drive), the S63 AMG will do 0-100kmph in 4.2 seconds, the 4MATIC all-wheel drive model will do the same in 3.9 seconds. It offers a top speed of 250kmph. Features that distinguish both the Coupe siblings is the AMG body kit that includes aggressive bumpers, large multi-spoke alloy wheels, AMG badge, a quad-exhaust and carbon-fibre interior trim. The S63 AMG that claims to shed 65kgs weight, will be lighter than the CL63 AMG.
