Continuing with the success of Mercedes-Benz Performance Drive, the second level of training, known as Advanced Training, has commenced at AMG Driving Academy, Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. This advanced program is a combination of theory and practical knowledge, with an aim of improving cornering and handling skills, while driving a high performance vehicle. Such skills will be taught by expert drivers called from AMG Driving Academy, Germany.
The Buddh International Track in Greater Noida has been used for Formula One Racing and is perfect for practising cornering techniques, as well as learning control at high speeds. Prior to the Advanced Training course, drivers went through a basic training program, where they were made to learn how to react confidently and safely under extreme conditions, while handling high performance Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles.

It is a proud moment for all of us in announcing the introduction of the Advanced level of this highly successful programme.”
Such is the popularity of this Performance Drive program that slots for Advanced Training were already booked to capacity much before the start of this course. The Advanced Training program costs Rs. 1 lakh and would be held for two days. In fact, the Advanced Training program has also been well appreciated by Formula One legend Michael Schumacher.
As part of the Mercedes-Benz Performance Drive, six programs have been put together- AMG Driving Academy, StarDrive Experience, Track Day Experience, International Driving Experience, Star Off-Road Experience and a Young Star Drivers Program. All the programs are aimed at giving participants a complete feel of real-time motorsports. In true terms, with the level of training and knowledge received here, the program will give participants a gateway to enter the Pro Training program of AMG Academy.
Tremendous response has been received from various training programs of this academy, from all parts of the world. Vehicles that are being used and will be used in India include high performance Mercedes AMG cars, such as C 63 AMG, E 63 AMG and the SLS AMG. It is quite certain that these initiatives would definitely help to shape the future of motorsports on the India turf.
