Mercedes-Benz India, today, confirmed that it will launch the 2015 B-Class facelift in the country on March 11, 2015. The facelifted model had made its global premiere at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. It will receive a series of changes to both exterior and the interior.

The facelifted B-Class gets a more sculpted look with new LED projector headlamps with daytime running lamps, a prominent grille, restyled front bumper and new fog lamps. At the rear, the car features new tail-light graphics, more contoured bumper and new design for exhaust (now integrated into the bumper.

Talking about the interiors, the 2015 B-Class has new instrument cluster, a new 8-inch COMAND infotainment system, a new three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, ambient LED lighting with a choice of 12 colors, and push button start-stop. It is expected that the company will continue to offer the car in three trim levels- Style, Urban and AMG line.

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class facelift will continue to use the same engine options. While the petrol engine is a 1.6-litre unit that is good for 120bhp, the oil burner is a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder motor that produces 107bhp. Both engines will be coupled to a standard 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox. It is quite early to comment whether the German maker will offer the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system with B-Class facelift or not.
