Cars from the Maruti Suzuki stable had been an immediate hit in the market right from the moment they were launched in the market. The tall and uniquely designed Ritz hatchback from the company has failed to generate enough takers in country even though it has been one of the most brilliantly engineered machine from the carmaker. A recent report from sources has indicated that the Ritz hatchback is likely to be discontinued and make way for the yet to be launched YRA premium hatchback.
Maruti Suzuki has been working on surprising the Indian market with a fresh range of cars that are expected to take the brand ahead with times. If reports are to be believed, the new premium hatchback is likely to be offered sometime in second quarter this year. News has also been doing rounds that the company may launch the Taxi variant known as Ritz Tour sometime soon but this is yet to be confirmed as it contradicts the fresh report.
More details on the upcoming vehcile shall be known at the time of official announcement being made by the company in this regard. Post launch, the YRA hatchback shall emerge as a strong competitor against Hyundai Elite i20, Tata Bolt, Honda Brio and the upcoming Honda Jazz.
