      Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Swift 1.2L launched in Philippines

      It has been a routine in the country to expect vehicles launched internationally to make it here in the coming months. This time around we shall be on the higher side as Maruti Suzuki has stated its plays to export the local version of Ertiga and Swift 1.2 to Philippines market.

      The Ertiga MUV from Maruti Suzuki is available in Petrol, Diesel and CNG variant. The petrol version is powered by 1373 cc K-Series Petrol VVT engine that generates about 95 Ps of power with 130 Nm of torque. The diesel version gets a 1248 cc DDiS Diesel engine that generates about 90 Ps of power with 200 Nm of torque. The CNG variant is powered by 1373 cc K-Series Petrol VVT engine that generates about 82 Ps of power with 110 Nm of torque.

      For the interiors, the Ertiga MUV gets a sporty dashboard, chrome door handles and stylish meter cluster. The occupant area looks elegant and is designed for maximum comfort. You can choose your favorite music from playlist using steering audio controls. Comfort for the rear seat passengers is also ensured with a second row armrest and 2nd row Ac system with controllers. On the Exterior front the MUV has received aerodynamic styling, stylish cluster headlamps that are well complimented with the built-in fog lamps near the bumper. Sides are adorned with smart looking alloy wheels and stylish side view mirrors. The rear section of the Ertiga MPV is adorned with classic styled tail-lamps.

      As per reports, the company may export the current generation Maruti Suzuki Swift that carries a 1.2 litre K-series petrol engine. Till now the Swift hatchback in Philippines were sold with the Ertiga borrowed 1.4 Liter engine. The 1.2L petrol version delivers a decent fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl. Design has always been impressive since it launch in the country. The exteriors sport enhanced dimensions that makes it distinctive and stronger. The aerodynamic lines delivers impressive maneuverability at high speeds. The headlamps may probably receive daytime running lamps this time around and it is being said that, the ORVM's may also sport integrated turn lamps. The Swift hatchback's cabin space has been stated to be noise-free.

      Interiors of the new Swift feature more-or-less a similar pattern. The interiors are fairly decent with a black theme. The rear-seat legroom has been increased in comparison to the older model. Seats have also undergone changes with a good thigh and back support. A well designed chassis and improved suspension delivers a smoother ride in our unpredictable local road conditions.
