      Mahindra Two wheelers register spectacular sales growth in first five months of FY 12-13

      Mahindra Two Wheelers, the two-wheeler making arm of the Indian auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra, has been registering heavy growth in the Indian market in the last few months. The company sold a total of 50,567 units of their cars in the Indian market during the first five months of this financial year. On the other hand, the August sales of the company stood at 10,028 units.

      The technological capabilities of the firm have increased significantly with the establishment of new R&D centre in Pune. The company has developed new Z-series engine coupled with advanced DCDI technology for their scooter range. The new engine not only offers a greater performance but also delivers a high fuel economy.

      Speaking on the company’s performance recently, Mr. Viren Popli, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Customer Care, Mahindra Two Wheelers, said, "With cutting-edge R&D capabilities, and an intimate understanding of Indian consumers, we intend to deliver strong consumer-relevant innovations in each of our products. We now have a full portfolio of scooters with the new, advanced Z-Series engine. Both the ROMBA SOLID Duro DZ and the recently launched zippy, stylish, fully loaded Rodeo RZ will excite customers with their powerful engines and superior on-road mileage."
