The country’s most prevalent utility vehicle producer, Mahindra & Mahindra has freshly reported to add 8 to 10 new vehicles to its portfolio by March 2012 in diverse segments. An SUV too is said to be launched by end of the year which in all terms likely to be better than company’s top selling SUV Scorpio.
Pawan Goenka, President Mahindra & Mahindra says to reporters, “From this year to the end of March 2012, there will e a slew of products launched across passenger and commercial vehicles segments”
The company has recently launched Genio, a pick-up vehicle and now intends to bring fresh 8 to 10 products enclosing a healthy number of variants and raw vehicles. A premium SUV will be the show stopper which has been rated above Scorpio.
Mr. Goenka further expressed his excitement especially on coming SUV, which has been called entirely a new product crafted on an all new platform. The vehicle is likely to be out in the market by December, 2011.
Moreover, there will be enough launches of vehicles based on Maxximo and Ingenio platform, as new trucks and trippers too are to be produced in the association with Navistar which is Mahindra’s latest joint venture.
