      Mahindra sells around 15,845 bikes in April

      Mahindra has been a popular brand name in the Indian Auto market. The Indian automaker is steadily gaining popularity in the two-wheeler segment too. Based on recent report, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd has sold around 15,845 two wheeler units in the month of April, 2014. Last year, in the same month the company reportedly sold just about 5,367 units, thereby indicating nearly three times the growth in comparison to the previous year.

      Speaking more on the occasion, Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “The Mahindra Centuro continues to drive our growth in the new financial year. We expect to further accelerate our growth with the new campaign, backed by a strong service commitment and network. The Centuro is the best choice for consumers in its segment.” Last month, Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited launched Centuro, Arro and Duro DZ in Uganda via local distributor named Miracle Motors. Speaking more on the exports, Sandeep Singh, Senior General Manager and Head of Exports, Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited, “Mahindra Two Wheelers is one of India’s youngest and most dynamic two wheeler companies. We are a pioneer in terms of bringing Consumer Inspired Technology to the Indian two wheeler market, with our scooters and motorcycles offering advanced, segment-first features and innovations.       The popular Centuro motorbike launched by Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited in India sports an internationally patented Anti-Theft Alarm that can be activated or deactivated using encrypted Remote Flip Key. Describing the popular advertisement campaign, Sarosh Shetty, Vice President – Marketing, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “Our highly impactful launch communication campaign last year had generated high consumer demand for the award winning Mahindra Centuro. Developed as an interesting sequel to the original launch film, this new television commercial further accentuates the core values of being macho, tough and confident that one expects from the Mahindra brand.” He further added, “It also brings alive the unique features that customers loved in the Centuro, namely its differentiated styling, the Anti-Theft Alarm and Remote Flip Key. The unique twist in the engaging story line is sure to grab the attention of viewers."
